Named after the 'lunar' or moon-shaped white mark on the wings.
Distinctive deep scallop on the hindwing.

A few Norfolk records from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Recorded at Yarmouth in July 2021 (W. Hampton)

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
